Linburg Coaches - Sheffield and Derby (Awful!)

Linburg Coaches (Sheffield and Derby) Review

I am compelled to write this blog post having received the worst service from a 'professional' company than I have received through the previous 30 years of my life (and I have had some bad service provision over the years!).

We decided to use Linburg Coaches for a hen party after having found them on the internet as they appeared to be a professional company from their website. They claim to have serviced a number of well-known companies and seemed credible.

As usual, it is difficult to tell from the internet so I decided to call them and spoke to a surprisingly unpleasant lady by the name of Aisha (or similar). Just her alone nearly put me off using Linburg Coaches (I wish it had!) but I decided to persevere as time was running short.

After some 'toing and froing', we settled on a price and an agreement, and my friends and I were all looking forward to a great night out.

But, unfortunately, it didn't really work out to be a great night out!

Firstly, their coach eventually arrived with spluttering black smoke and creaking and shuddering. I was actually surprised it made it to us. Then, surprise, surprise, the coach broke down after 5 minutes.

Then, when it came to pick-up time, the coach failed to arrive - no warning, no messages, nothing. They just decided to leave 21 people stranded in another city without accommodation etc.

When we tried to sort this out with Linburg Coaches, they were rude, elusive, and then impossible to speak to. They tried every trick in the book to NOT speak to us and then eventually told us they would just keep our money, saying they were going to keep the £500 or so they owed us.

So, if you are thinking of using Linburg Coaches for coach hire in Sheffield (or Derby), then think again.

You have been warned!
